Legal notice

Publisher and hosting information for the Papyrus websites and platform.

Updated 5 November 2026

Publisher and contact

Papyrus is published on a non-professional basis by Baptiste DUBOC-FIORIN, who is also the publication director. Contact: support@getpapyrus.eu.

The project lets you write historical notes, connect them and place them in time and space. The getpapyrus.fr and getpapyrus.eu websites present the product; app.getpapyrus.eu provides access to the platform.

A free personal project

The service is currently free, with no paid subscription or advertising. You can make a voluntary contribution of your chosen amount through an external Revolut page. It does not provide additional features or benefits. Papyrus does not issue a tax-deductible donation receipt.

This page provides service information. It does not introduce a paid agreement or require consent to read these documents.

Hosting

Hosting provider: OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France.

Telephone: 1007 from France; +33 9 72 10 10 07 from abroad. See OVHcloud’s official information.

The main application server is in the United Kingdom; encrypted application backups are stored in Paris, France. Other processing is described in the privacy notice.

Content and resources

Your notes are not published by default. You remain responsible for the content you add and the rights needed to use it. A quotation, document or map from another source may be subject to that source’s rights.

A resource appearing on Papyrus is not automatically available for unrestricted reuse. Third-party components retain their respective licences. Historical examples illustrate how the product works; they do not replace examining the sources.

Report a problem

For a publishing question, inaccurate information or content concerning you, email support@getpapyrus.eu. Identify the page and provide the information needed to understand your request. Avoid sending unrelated personal data.
